  Druid Heights Community Development Corporation

The Druid Heights Community Development Corporation (DHCDC), a non-profit organization, was established in 1974.  DHCDC is governed by a 18-member Board of Directors that include political, corporate, and community representation. Its mission is to promote and encourage areas of community development and empowerment through numerous initiatives.  The overall goal is to accelerate the revitalization of the neighborhood with self-empowerment, employment and economic opportunities all while creating a stable and safe community environment.Our mission is to cause, encourage and promote community self-empowerment through the development of employment, economic, housing and social service opportunities.

EVENT COLLABORATIONS

The Josh Gibson Foundation is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation which was established in 1994.  It is the goal of the Foundation to establish a history and learning center in Homestead, PA to reach out to the families and youth of the community on which Josh Gibson left his mark.

Established in 2001, the mission of Ripken Baseball is to grow the game of baseball worldwide "The Ripken Way." Ripken Baseball was formerly known as The Tufton Group that was in operation from 1991-2000. It was originally established to handle all of the off-field opportunities for Cal Ripken, Jr. and establish a business base for Ripken upon his retirement.
