Earned Run
An innovative baseball program that strives to renew the love of an American past time by providing clinics, field trips, and tournament opportunities to existing baseball leagues and organizations throughout Baltimore City. Earned Run includes the following incentive programs:
A.C.E. (Attendance Creates Excellence) By partnering with Baltimore City Public Middle Schools we strive to help improve attendance, by rewarding students throughout the year.
R.B.I. (Reading Builds Intelligence) We work to encourage youth in the city's baseball leagues to read throughout the year, by providing them with books that tell inspiring and colorful stories about the Negro Leagues and Blacks in Baseball. Annually the RBI Read-a-thon will be held with awards & prizes going to top readers.

HEROES Fund Established because many players do not receive a pension or have a sustainable income. This fund was developed to provide assistance to former Negro League players and their widows who are in financial need.
B.A.L.L. Voice A monthly email newsletter and blog to update and communicate to readers current news, upcoming events, provide advice from former Negro League players. (Coming in 2010)
You may contribute to this effort monetarily or by volunteering your time. If you are interested in giving a helping hand, please feel free to make a donation or contact us for volunteer opportunities.
